The Summer Garden

There is nothing more attractive than someone in their element, enjoying their passion, speaking their true language. So when I watch Christophe with the boys in the garden growing our vegetables it makes my heart nearly explode.
The boys are very involved in the growing of our vegetable food supply this year, an education I hope they will cherish through out their lives.
In the garden we learn and relearn life's important lessons of patience, diligence, persistence and beauty. Then there are also the practical lessons like how important water, clean soil and air really are, the worth of hard work, the shame of wasting the results of that hard work.....
What if gardening was part of our school's curriculum?
